I am a newby at this so I apologize in advance if this is a stupid question.

In the tutorial there is no explanation as to how to enter pronunciation phoneme for the .voca file.

- Is there a standard representation for phonemes? Wki on the subject shows some wierd symbols that are not in the .voca file.

- Is there a place to look up these?

- Are there multiple standards for representing phonemes in English?

- What if I am entering a new noun (like a company name thats made up..)?

- What if I am adding words from another language?

I am looking for practical answers from "using it with Julian" context and not general deep theory :)
