Hello Everybody

I have to create a proof of concept prototype dictation plugin for Apache Open Office for a customer. The customer is willing to buy licenses for software, sdks or models, but he is interested in an open source engine.

We need a solution that has GUI or CLI for training and solid models for German, French and English. We can't put much effort in the speech-recognition/dictation part, except of course training. Our task is to write the glue code between speech-recognition and AOO.

As it seems most open source systems are just toolkits and a lot has to be done to build an actual dictation application. I would love to do that Laughing, but that's not what I am assigned for.

SpeechControl looks promising, we are testing it at the moment.

Can anyone point out another "complete" system?

Or maybe a commercial system built on an open source engine?

Of course if it is certain that we can create a solid solution, our customer would pay for work that will be merged back into the open source projects.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Best,

   Jean-Louis
