Hi, As I had said in my last post, I tried to implement unsupervised adaptation in HTK.

For the same adaptation data, supervised adaptation is giving visible improvements.

But when I load the .tmf file using -J option in HVite, the accuracy falls!! ive tried to tinker with it and fix the problem but to no use.

what am I doing wrong here? Has anyone done experiments on this and seen it work before?

ERROR [+2319]  HERest: output TMF file expected

 FATAL ERROR - Terminating program /home/shareef/htk/HTKTools/HERest

I ran the follwing command

~/htk/HTKTools/HERest -C config -T 4 -C config.global -S afds.scp -I afds.mlf -H timit_hmm49/macros -u a -H timit_hmm49/hmmdefs -z -K xforms mllr1 -J classes -h ’*/%%%%*.mfc’ tiedlist
