Thank God i found a forum for HTK...Its been 3 days that im  surfing on the web about that....

Im a totally newbie at HTK and faced with lots of questions...

1-How can i read a wave file in HTK?where is the variable which is ganna contain the vectors of sample?

2- How can i run binary codes? should i use an interpreter like active perl? if i get that correctly,i have to write the codes in a file with "pl" extension and run it from command line, right?

I would appriciate if you guys help me,really need your help

Thanks a million

You need someone to teach you the basics of how you run executables and perl on your system.   This is nothing to do with VoxForge so you are unlikely to get an answer here.   Far better to find someone you can physically talk to if you are part of a company or university, else start by writing and running "hello world" in perl.

Thanks for your response

I tested that part, but i just wanna extract the coefficient of lpc,mfc,...

so far,i guess i dont need active perl and its doable  by HTK.
