Hi all

I just wanted to know that is it possible to extract a word in a voice signal by its signal features like zero crossing or ...

If yes , do you have any idea what features might specify a word?

If i record a sentece , can i extarct its word by HTK?

What kind of help might be done by HTK ?

I would r e a l l y appericiate if you help me out with that..

Thanks a million

HTK has a very good manual - you should start there.

From the the questions you are asking it is the right place to start.  Once you are familiar with the basics then you'll find some useful scripts on this site.   Once you are up to speed with these then you'll both be able to able to build a basic system and you'll know what questions to ask next.
